Why choose the Thai Relax package?

In the package, each adult chooses a 50-minute massage from three traditions:

Classic Thai, a proven ritual from the Land of Smiles

Traditional Thai massage comes from a culture dating back more than two thousand years, combining elements of yoga, acupressure and work along the body’s energy lines. It’s a classic among massages: it combines deeper pressure, stretching and rhythmic movements that loosen tight muscles, improve joint mobility and help lower cortisol levels—the stress hormone. It’s sometimes called lazy yoga because you do the stretching while the therapist does the work. Reliable, powerful and still one of the most frequently chosen rituals in our Spa.

Balinese: meeting oils and touch

From the Island of the Gods came a technique that combines acupressure, reflexology and long, flowing movements performed on warmed, aromatic oil. The Balinese massage works like a wave: first, deeper pressure releases tense points, then long, soothing strokes smooth everything that has been loosened. It’s a choice for people who want to feel pampered from head to toe.

Lomi Lomi, the Hawaiian dance of hands

In Hawaiian, Lomi Lomi roughly means loving hands. It is a traditional healing art passed down through generations of Hawaiian healers. The therapist works with long, flowing movements of the forearms, reminiscent of the Pacific Ocean’s wave rhythm—often with almost uninterrupted contact with the body throughout the entire treatment. It’s a massage that releases not only muscular tension, but also the emotional tension accumulated somewhere deeper.

Plus: 20-minute foot reflexology

In addition to your chosen massage, each adult also receives a separate 20-minute foot reflexology massage. This ancient technique uses pressure points on the feet which, according to tradition, correspond to the entire body. It improves circulation, soothes tired feet after a day of walking, and closes the experience from feet to head—literally.

Relaxing tea after the massage

Each of these rituals ends the same way: with a cup of relaxing herbal tea prepared by Meralin the Thai therapist. Warmth in your hands, a gentle aroma and a moment of silence that completes the whole experience before you return to the outside world.
